The Department of Mechanical Engineering of University Polytechnic was established in the year 2013.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering of UP imparts the fundamental knowledge & necessary skills set along with developing the right professional attitude to make the students employable, and enable them get the entry level positions in both public as well as private sectors in the domain areas of manufacturing, maintenance, production, and quality assurance in organizations like Indian Railways, DRDO, BHEL, NTPC, Mahindra, Tata, Vikas Group, etc. for a bright and successful career.
The curriculum has been specifically designed to train the young minds who pass out from the schools after the completion of 10th and 12th standard. We have the state-of-the-art centralised infrastructure and laboratories, under the aegis of Uttaranchal University, to provide students the best education, professional training and plethora of co-curricular activities for their overall development as we aspire to become the first choice of parents and students in technical education at diploma level in the country.
